Ewa Michalak BM

Sorry for the long delay in reviews.  I've been super busy traveling for work more so than usual and also started a side gig when I'm home long enough to do it and want to make some extra money (if you are curious I began shopping for Shipt in June which is a grocery delivery service).  This review on the BM has been sitting in my drafts for quite some time now and other than being busy I'm not sure why I haven't taken some time to finish it.

I got the Ewa Michalak BM Neonek on Bratabase after having tried the SM.  The BM arrived before the SF I ordered around the same time (SF Trapez).  I had been a bit concerned with how the SF would fit and had heard it fit similarly to a BM.  I got the BM Neonek in 65E which is a cup smaller than I get in Ewa's padded styles.

The BM Neonek is a neon pink made from a sheer mesh under layer with lace on top, the upper section of the lace is stretch lace.  It is a 3 part cup with one horizontal and one vertical seam. The BM is supposed to give a bit more natural shape as opposed to the very lifted and projected look of the SM.  I feel like the BM may give a slightly more minimized look instead of a very projected look like the SM.  I'm not sure why, but in the SM I get a flattening at near the underwire that causes an odd indentation, I'm assuming a bit more immediate depth is needed, otherwise I do like the SM, but because of this I don't plan to purchase them.

The BM Neonek has a rather firm band and I can't wear it without an extender or two.  I did however like the overall shape it gave, but also felt the cup may have been a bit small. I emailed Ewa Michalak in regards to this to get some input and was graciously offered a BM and and SF to review.  We didn't discuss styles or anything so it was a surprise when I got the order confirmation.  I got the BM Pantera in 70E as well as the SF Kicia in the same size.

The bras arrived while I was out of town for work so I couldn't wait to get home to try them out.  Both bras fit well, but since this is a review on the BM I will focus on just the BM Pantera for now.  The Pantera has two layers of mesh with stretch lace unlike the Neonek that has mesh and lace with the stretch lace upper section.

The 70E is a much better fit for me than the 65E, the band on the both run a bit on the smaller side of true to size, but the 70 band is perfect for me at 31in stretched.  The cups are a better fit in the 70E as well, they give me just enough extra depth to eliminate the bit of quad I got from the 65E (8.5in).  I had been worried that a cup volume larger would be too big, but it seems to be perfect as do my subsequent BM purchases in 70E (8.8in).

I already mentioned I had subsequent BM purchases so yes, I do love the fit of the BM.  The first time I had read about the BM the thought that it was supposed to be a more natural shape had me a bit worried, but I find it still gives a fairly round shape.  It does have a slight minimizing quality but more so in the way that it doesn't bring the breasts as front and center super projected way like the SM or Cleo.  I don't find the BM to really take  away from your actual size it just spreads out the fullness a bit more.

The BM has a fairly low gore as well at 2.25in.  A low gore is nice when you need a break from taller ones and it is quite comfortable.

My Thoughts on Ewa Michalak S Syrena

my thoughts on bras, ewa michalak, S, S syrena, syrena, mermaid bra, lingerie

Ewa Michalak's S Syrena is the second S model I have tried, I had previously tried the S Pantera (for more detailed fit description read the review for Pantera).  The S Syrena is an absolutely stunning bra with it's deep teal and purple color combo and eyelash lace.  I had seen Syrena for and wanted to try it for a long time, but until I discovered I liked how the S model fit I wasn't ready to buy it.   I did finally come across Syrena in a set for sale on Bratabase and decided to get it, the size is 70E, depending on how the particular model runs I usually get 65F or 70E, though I've been becoming more uncomfortable in 65/30 bands recently with the exception of newer Cleos with stretchy bands.

The bra and panties arrived, and I didn't think it was possible, but Syrena is even more beautiful in person than in photos.  The colors are very vibrant and the oversize bow is a nice change from standard gore decorations. The cups themselves are a deep turquoise, the lace is a navy blue and the bows are deep magenta.  The band is navy blue with the turquoise being used as an accent.  The colors go together beautifully.

Also while the straps especially in this photo appear to be quite wideset, they give me no issues whatsoever.  The material used for the straps seems to be quite soft so perhaps that is why I'm not the least bit bothered by them.  I honestly didn't even realize the straps were wideset until looking at the photos.

As with the other S I tried the Syrena also has nice narrow wires (5.2in) and decently projected cups (8.7in without cookies), even with the cookies in the bra does remain in my IMF (all photos are with cookies.).  The gore is also nice and low.  The band is pretty TTS stretching to 31.5in in 70E, had I went with a 65F I would probably need wear it with an extender for a few wears.

I am so happy that I found this as a set because the panties really complete the look.  The backside of the panties also feature the same oversized bow as the bra.  The panties are also very comfortable.  I can't recall the size I'm wearing, I want to say 36, but I can't find the panties to verify at the moment.

Ewa Michalak, Giving the SM Another Chance

I had previously tried a couple of SM's and didn't have the best results, one being a size to large and the other having been used and having a 75 band altered down to a 65.  This time I got the bras in 65F and 70E and either new or barely worn.  I got the SM Rozowa in 70E and the SM Summertime is 65F.  These two are probably the best fitting SM's I have tried, though not without some issues.

Rozowa is nearly a perfect nude for me with it's pale pink tone (much like my Curvy Kate Florence) and cut like the Czarna Miglelka. The Summertime is a bit dark for me still very pretty, but to utilize as a nude it would be better on a darker skin tone (perhaps why it's called Summertime, although Summertime or not, it won't be a nude for me).

The design on Summertime is beautiful with the embroidered flowers and it's similar to Cukiereczek, but with more neutral toned embroidery.  Under most shirts the embroidery shouldn't be visible, but under clingy thin shirts it may be a bit noticeable.  I think on my skintone I prefer the Cukiereczek a bit more, but both are beautiful.

Ewa Michalak S Pantera, Finally Trying the S

I had tried one of Ewa Michalak's S models a long time ago when I first started my ABTF journey.  The first one I tried was what I guessed to be a cup size too big 65FF, but for some reason I just never got around to trying another S in a size smaller.  I'm honestly not sure why I didn't try another, I tried many other EM's since, but hadn't give the S a second shot.  From what I remember of the first one, I kind liked it despite it being a bit too big.  Anyhow, I finally decided to give the S another chance.  I found the S Pantera for a decent price on r/braswap and despite not being crazy about the print I decided to try it.  Pantera does look better in person than in most photos I've seen. I think I captured the print pretty well in this close up.

Prior to trying an S in the correct size, my main style for Ewa Michalak was the PL.  I do like the low gore and the cleavage I get from the PL, but sometimes feel as if the wires are a bit wide and the straps too wide set.  For some reason it seems most people in my size range prefer the CH/CHP cut, which just doesn't quite work for me, it fits but I feel unsupported.  With the S, the cups are a bit taller than CH/CHP, but while still being fairly low.  I was also pleasantly surprised that the gore was lower than expected, not PL low, but reduced gore Comexim height perhaps. Although looking at the photos it does look like the gore is sitting on tissue slightly on the right breast (left side in photo), but I didn't notice any discomfort or have any idea until taking photos.  The wires are also narrower or at least feel narrower than the PL (the S is a bit narrower S 5.1in  PL Chalet 5.3in) the straps also seem less bothersome.

So the S in 70E does seem to fit a bit better with the cookies in, but not enough to justify a size down, not that it is available in a 65E.  The one time I tried a 65E in 3D, it was too small, all photos of the S Pantera are with cookies in.  I wore the S Pantera for a full day after receiving it and find it to be possibly my most comfortable EM bra (I have worn it a few more times since and it still remains very comfortable). I am very happy with the S cut and will try more S bras in the future, I already have the Syrena on the way.

After adding the photos to my blog, I'm actually really loving the Pantera, the color is beautiful and the leopard print is quite subtle.  The S gives a very nice uplifted round shape a bit less cleavage than the PL, but kind of a different style cleavage.  The S is a bit more subtle cakes on a plate whereas the PL is more of a Y shaped cleavage.

The S also looks great under a shirt. It gives a very round and projected look.

Ewa Michalak PL Chalet a Bra Obssesed Exclusive

I finally placed my first order with Bra Obsessed and Jamie is great to work with.  She had a Comexim Dottie thong in stock that I had been wanting since I found out Comexim ran out of fabric, but with shipping costs I didn't want to order just a thong. I opened my email one day and saw that she would be placing orders for some new Bra Obsessed exclusive models and I fell in love with the Chalet, and hopes it could function as a "nude".  I debated on getting an S or PL (my boobs and CHP don't play nice most the time, yet Comexim 3HC works I think because CHP's are usually lower coverage), since I've only tried the S once in the wrong size I chose to go with the PL in 65F.

Jamie tried something new with ordering this time, but Ewa held all the orders until the final one and shipped them all together, so shipping was a bit delayed.  I know others who order from Bra Obsessed regularly and don't have to wait much longer than ordering direct from Ewa or Comexim.

In the initial photos I had seen of the Chalet, I had thought it would be a fairly light beige color with pinkish rose colored accents.  Before I received my bra I started seeing some photos Bra Obsessed had posted of the order arrival.  These new photos had me kind of worried, the color was much darker more brownish color, I was unsure what the true color would be.

I finally receive my Chalet with matching panties as well as my Comexim Dottie panties.  I immediately notice the color is more true to the photo of it in a darker tone.  This is a bit disheartening as I was hoping it could function as a pretty nude.  Good news is it will work well as a nude for someone, just not me or anyone with fair skin.  The bra is still absolutely gorgeous, just not what I expected.  I'm also still not quite sure what to call the primary color as it isn't really a brown, I want to call it cappuccino or maybe mink, but I'm not quite sure that would be right either.  Even though it's not quite the shade I expected, I do actually like the contrast of the deeper color against my fair skin.

It fits about the same as my other PL's and this one does have fully adjustable straps.  As usual with Ewa Michalak the straps are a bit wide set, the cups on the PL are a bit on the wider side (comared to other EM models and Comexim), but still within the realm of a good fit and comfort.  When I first tried it on I thought it was too large, but I gave it another shot after repositioning the cookies and thankfully it fits (I've had quite the strikeout on bras this week).

I am very happy that I ordered the matching thong as this is a rather unique shade of lingerie.  The set also just looks too good together.  I got the thong in a size 36, and it think it is nearly a perfect fit, it's super comfy.  I love how the bows are placed on the front, and as with most EM panties there is a bow on the backside as well.  I also love the lace at the leg opening.

Even though the color didn't end up being what I was hoping it would be I am still quite happy with this set, and the color does look great.  I think this could be a great nude for someone with a darker skin tone, and I am still truly at a loss of description for the color of this set.

My Thoughts on my First Ewa Michalak SM

I tried my first Ewa Michalak SM several months ago, and while I liked the general shape it was too large.  I found it on Bratabase for a good price in a70F and since I'd had an S (EM's padded balconette) in 65FF that was only slightly too big I decided to give the 70F a shot so I could at least get an idea of my size.  Again, I don't like waiting for bras especially unlined ones since I'm quite picky about them and have found very few I love.

The first SM I tried was the SM Czarna Migielka in 70F a beautiful black sheer bra with lace trim.  The photos trick play tricks and make it look like a good fit, but that is because the lace trim is heavy and likes to lay flat, if I pull the top away there is about an inch of empty space.  The shape it gives is round and not too overly centered like I find Cleo to be.  Unfortunately I no longer have this bra so I can't take any new photos to show how much space I have in the upper portion of the cup.

I got another opportunity to try an SM in a swap for my old Emeline.  It was an older model the SM Cukiereczek  and a 75DD, but the band was altered to about a 65 so it should fit like a 65F.   The bra arrived and it is beautiful, it's nude with pink embroidery.

There is a a bit empty space in this one but mostly near the gore.  It is a much better fit than the 70F Czarna Migielka. I also feel like I get slightly more lift, at least it looks that way, hard to say for sure since I had already sold the SM Czarna Migielka and I'm judging from photos and my not so great memory.

The gaping at the gore normally wouldn't concern me, but the straps on this were just too wideset for me and were rather irritating.  I'm guessing this is a result of it originally being a 75 band, and if I got this in a smaller band size the straps would be manageable for me.

As you can see this is a great color for fair skin tones, I'm not sure if photos show how fair skinned I am, but for perspective I usually wear about the lightest shade of foundation.

I really do like the shape and how the cups fit in the SM, but have yet to find my perfect fit in it.  I think if I get a 65F or 70E I should be alright.  I really would like to try the SM Cukiereczek again in a different size, it's absolutely stunning. Looking at the photos almost makes me wish I had tried longer to tolerate the straps.  If anyone has any SM's in 65F or 70E let me know I would love to find one that works for me.

Ewa Michalak M Magique, M vs. PL Comparison

Ewa michalak, magique, m cut, ewa m, a bra that fits, pl, comparison, review
Ewa Michalak M Magique, stock Photo from website.

I absolutely love the aesthetics of the M Magique. The band does run quite small, and I was aware since I bought it from another Bratabase user.  However,  I was really curious about the M cut and love the Magique anyhow, nothing an extender or 2 can't fix, and at least I didn't have to wait a month to see if it would even work.

The bra fits me fairly well, both with and without the cookies.  The cookies for this bra are a bit challenging to put in, they slide in through a small side pocket and you have to bend them a bit to squeeze them in.  While it fits well both ways, with the pads gives some extreme cleavage (I will take some more photos with pads in once I dig them out of the bra drawer).

The wires are a bit wide, but not excessively they are within the realm of what works for me at about 5.3in, and they are also quite short (about a 1.5cm shorter than than the PL).  The straps are still somewhat wide set like most EM's, but are narrower straps, which could be a pro or con depending on your preference, personally I think if they were wider they may be a bit irritating, but they do feel a bit flimsy (they are completely elastic), so you may need to adjust them a bit throughout the day, but they are easily adjustable.  I measured the distances between straps on the M compared to PL's of the same size and they seem to be close if not the same depending on the PL.

without cookies

without cookies

I think the primary difference between the PL and the M is the cup height with the M being about 2cm shorter than the PL. The gore is also a hair lower, but almost literally a hair lower, and the PL's range a bit in the ones I have from 1.75 to 2in while the M is 1.6in.

If the PL works for you and you want lower coveage the M could also work if you are in the size range for the M (65AA-F and corresponding sister sizes including a standard 60 band).  The cup depth seems to be mostly the same between the 3 PL's and the 1 M I have at about 8.25, with one PL measuring 8.5.  You may want to size up in the band though, it is noted on EM's website that the band on the M runs small, since I only have one M I can't speak to how true that is across the line, but this one does fit more like a 60 than a 65.

Here is a photo comparison between a PL and the M.  Although I believe I am wearing the cookies in the PL, I will add some photos with cookies in the M when I can (ideally when I have some natural light).  Despite cookies in one and not the other the cleavage looks similar probably because M  is lower coverage, with cookies, it's almost too much, but good for special occasions.  I am also able to wear a 65 band in the PL with no extender whereas in the M I have 2 extenders on.  For reference I have a 30.5in ribcage, so I'm more between 30/32 bands.
