My Thoughts on Tutti Rouge Jessica with SuperBoost

Tutti Rouge, Jessica, Superboost, cleavage, illegal cleavage, bra fit. push up bra

I got the Tutti Rouge Jessica in 30E from a swap on Bratabase.  For some reason I really like black and "nude" bras, I'm not sure what it is, but they really catch my attention.  Forgive me for the excessive amount of photos, but I really love the aesthetics of this set.

Without Boosters
I had been interested in the Jessica since I first found out what the concept was.  In case anyone isn't familiar with Jessica, it is an unlined bra but it comes with cookie pockets and 2 different cookies a smaller one and a larger one (Tutti Booster (large) and Super Booster)small one inside larger one).  The larger cookie has a pocket in it to put the smaller one in.  This gives you 2 levels of boost, and the option to wear it just unlined.

I hadn't seen many reviews on the Jessica, but from what I've seen it seems like wearing it completely unlined is the more popular choice.  As an unlined bra it fits nicely and gives a somewhat natural shape.

Without Boosters

The boosters do give boost and more cleavage, but personally I'm not quite sold on them.  I like the cleavage, but I don't like the appearance the the "Boosters" give.  The boosters only go into the outer section of the cup.  I find this gives a bit of an odd squarish shape and makes them too visible.

With just the large set worn alone you get a subtle more "soft hills" style cleavage.

With 1 Set of Boosters

With the Boosters worn together you get full blown cleavage, no subtlety here.
With Both Boosters, here you can really see the out line of the boosters.
As an unlined bra the Jessica is pretty nice although the wires aren't narrow (5.8in), but the cups are deep (nearly 10in on a 30E).  The Jessica fits much nicer on me than the Nichole which I had issues with in several sizes.  Without the cookies, the Jessica provides subtle lift and a somewhat round shape, but also slightly minimized and wideset.  It doesn't offer as much forward projection as a Cleo.

I have only really given Jessica try as an unlined bra as I don't care for the shape I get with the boosters.  Since hearing that they can conform to your shape over time, I may give it another shot.  As an unlined bra it fits fairly well for me.  I did notice it felt like the underwires were sitting low, but when I took the bra off the marks were perfectly in my IMF, so not sure if it was how I was sitting or just a strange feeling, I may try wearing it with the band on tighter hooks. Also despite having wider wires, they weren't too far off despite measure a good half inch wider than most my really good fitting unlined bras.

Without Boosters.
With 1 set of Boosters, you can see the outline of the boosters at the vertical seam.

With Both Boosters.
The gore is nice and low, but it is a bit on the wide side.  However the gore has the ability to tip into itself some (perhaps to allow for  use of the Tutti Boosters).  I did not have any wire marks on tissue from the gore. The gore is tacking nicely and is very comfortable as well.  With the gore relaxed it is about 1in wide, but tipped inward it is .8 which isn't bad since it's not even 2in tall.

The gore has some fabric between the wires, so the wires can tip inwards allowing some flexibility.

Overall the Tutti Rouge Jessica is a very pretty bra, and makes for a stunning set.  However, you may find yourself surprised to buy this bra for the boosting benefits only to end up wearing it as an unlined.  In a thin shirt the boosters are fairly noticeable, so it might be better to wear under a thicker shirt. Before seeing the photos, I really thought that the Booster outline was a lot more noticeable, but after seeing the photos it doesn't seem as bad as I thought.  Based on the photos I'm honestly thinking it might just be more of a self awareness thing and other people might not notice, especially if you take the time to see if the Boosters will conform to your shape.

I did get this with the matching panties as well. Unfortunately the panties are a size XS and run fairly TTS, so they are a bit too small for me, I think a small would fit pretty well.   Regardless the set is absolutely stunning (thanks to my boyfriend for assisting with photos).

Cleo Mimi and Comparison to Polish Half Cups, Comexim 3HC and Ewa CHP

Having read that Cleo has revamped the Mimi  with the new prints first the floral print (a nice venture away from only leopard print) and now the polka dot print, I was very interested in trying out Mimi.
The Mimi is a 3 part half cup and I had heard the fit is similar to the fit of Polish halfcups and I really wanted to give it a try.  Cleo generously gifted me the Mimi to review (I also received Hettie, which I've also reviewed), I was very excited to receive the Mimi and curious how it would stack up to the Polish halfcups.

Before I get on with the comparison, the Mimi I received is an adorable blue with white polka dots and bright coral accents.  It is modern but has a bit of retro appeal to it at the same time.  I need to get the matching undies for this soon, it's too cute to not have the matching set.

Ewa Michalak S Pantera, Finally Trying the S

I had tried one of Ewa Michalak's S models a long time ago when I first started my ABTF journey.  The first one I tried was what I guessed to be a cup size too big 65FF, but for some reason I just never got around to trying another S in a size smaller.  I'm honestly not sure why I didn't try another, I tried many other EM's since, but hadn't give the S a second shot.  From what I remember of the first one, I kind liked it despite it being a bit too big.  Anyhow, I finally decided to give the S another chance.  I found the S Pantera for a decent price on r/braswap and despite not being crazy about the print I decided to try it.  Pantera does look better in person than in most photos I've seen. I think I captured the print pretty well in this close up.

Prior to trying an S in the correct size, my main style for Ewa Michalak was the PL.  I do like the low gore and the cleavage I get from the PL, but sometimes feel as if the wires are a bit wide and the straps too wide set.  For some reason it seems most people in my size range prefer the CH/CHP cut, which just doesn't quite work for me, it fits but I feel unsupported.  With the S, the cups are a bit taller than CH/CHP, but while still being fairly low.  I was also pleasantly surprised that the gore was lower than expected, not PL low, but reduced gore Comexim height perhaps. Although looking at the photos it does look like the gore is sitting on tissue slightly on the right breast (left side in photo), but I didn't notice any discomfort or have any idea until taking photos.  The wires are also narrower or at least feel narrower than the PL (the S is a bit narrower S 5.1in  PL Chalet 5.3in) the straps also seem less bothersome.

So the S in 70E does seem to fit a bit better with the cookies in, but not enough to justify a size down, not that it is available in a 65E.  The one time I tried a 65E in 3D, it was too small, all photos of the S Pantera are with cookies in.  I wore the S Pantera for a full day after receiving it and find it to be possibly my most comfortable EM bra (I have worn it a few more times since and it still remains very comfortable). I am very happy with the S cut and will try more S bras in the future, I already have the Syrena on the way.

After adding the photos to my blog, I'm actually really loving the Pantera, the color is beautiful and the leopard print is quite subtle.  The S gives a very nice uplifted round shape a bit less cleavage than the PL, but kind of a different style cleavage.  The S is a bit more subtle cakes on a plate whereas the PL is more of a Y shaped cleavage.

The S also looks great under a shirt. It gives a very round and projected look.

Ewa Michalak PL Chalet a Bra Obssesed Exclusive

I finally placed my first order with Bra Obsessed and Jamie is great to work with.  She had a Comexim Dottie thong in stock that I had been wanting since I found out Comexim ran out of fabric, but with shipping costs I didn't want to order just a thong. I opened my email one day and saw that she would be placing orders for some new Bra Obsessed exclusive models and I fell in love with the Chalet, and hopes it could function as a "nude".  I debated on getting an S or PL (my boobs and CHP don't play nice most the time, yet Comexim 3HC works I think because CHP's are usually lower coverage), since I've only tried the S once in the wrong size I chose to go with the PL in 65F.

Jamie tried something new with ordering this time, but Ewa held all the orders until the final one and shipped them all together, so shipping was a bit delayed.  I know others who order from Bra Obsessed regularly and don't have to wait much longer than ordering direct from Ewa or Comexim.

In the initial photos I had seen of the Chalet, I had thought it would be a fairly light beige color with pinkish rose colored accents.  Before I received my bra I started seeing some photos Bra Obsessed had posted of the order arrival.  These new photos had me kind of worried, the color was much darker more brownish color, I was unsure what the true color would be.

Second photo I saw of Chalet

I finally receive my Chalet with matching panties as well as my Comexim Dottie panties.  I immediately notice the color is more true to the photo of it in a darker tone.  This is a bit disheartening as I was hoping it could function as a pretty nude.  Good news is it will work well as a nude for someone, just not me or anyone with fair skin.  The bra is still absolutely gorgeous, just not what I expected.  I'm also still not quite sure what to call the primary color as it isn't really a brown, I want to call it cappuccino or maybe mink, but I'm not quite sure that would be right either.  Even though it's not quite the shade I expected, I do actually like the contrast of the deeper color against my fair skin.

It fits about the same as my other PL's and this one does have fully adjustable straps.  As usual with Ewa Michalak the straps are a bit wide set, the cups on the PL are a bit on the wider side (comared to other EM models and Comexim), but still within the realm of a good fit and comfort.  When I first tried it on I thought it was too large, but I gave it another shot after repositioning the cookies and thankfully it fits (I've had quite the strikeout on bras this week).

I am very happy that I ordered the matching thong as this is a rather unique shade of lingerie.  The set also just looks too good together.  I got the thong in a size 36, and it think it is nearly a perfect fit, it's super comfy.  I love how the bows are placed on the front, and as with most EM panties there is a bow on the backside as well.  I also love the lace at the leg opening.

Even though the color didn't end up being what I was hoping it would be I am still quite happy with this set, and the color does look great.  I think this could be a great nude for someone with a darker skin tone, and I am still truly at a loss of description for the color of this set.

32DD Aerie Sunnie Full Coverage- Sensationally Soft

Sunnie Full Coverage in Royal Navy, stock photo from Aerie

After trying out a few Aerie bikinis, including one bra sized top, I was intrigued by how their bras might fit.  I had tried the Blakely bikini top in 34D, while the band did run small it was still too big for me.  None of my local American Eagle stores seem to carry any bras in stock (other than a small bralette selection, literally one bralette style in a few colors).  I contacted Aerie and mentioned my interest in their bras, and that I don't have a local store that carries my size or really any bras in stock (they did inform me that all online orders do come with a return slip for free returns).  However Aerie was generous enough to gift me a bra for review.

I got my package while out of town for work, I just got back this morning and tried it on immediately.  Aerie sent me the Sunnie Full Coverage Lightly Lined T-shirt bra in 32DD, also listed as being Real Soft T-shirt bras.  I will not argue with the bra being "Real Soft", everything about the Sunnie is soft and silky smooth feeling including the band. Quite possibly the softest bra I've ever tried one.  Sunnie comes in slightly expanded matrix sizing and is available in 30A-D, 32AA-DDD, 34-38A-DD, and 40C-DD.

If you look at the right side of the photo you can see how tightly I have to adjust the straps.

The band while being incredibly soft is fairly TTS, it stretches to about 32.5 inches.  This is a slightly larger than ideal stretched length for me so this does fit more comfortable on the middle or tightest hooks.  I know many people say Aerie bands run smaller, but that is not the case with the Sunnie, at least not in the navy color I received.

On the loosest hooks the band rides up slightly.

The Sunnie does have fully adjustable straps, the straps are quite thin, but not crazy stretchy feeling (they are a bit stretchy, but my Comexim Dottie straps feel more stretchy than this), and I don't have to constantly readjust them, they do stay put.  I do however have to tighten the straps almost all the way (I am high set so this might not be an issue if are lower set, see first photo of me in bra for strap adjustment).

The gore is a bit wide for me, but low enough that it isn't sitting on tissue.  The cups are about average width at 5.5in and are actually quite projected (8.5in cup depth), and have decent immediate projection as well.  The top of the cup is a bit closed off so if you are rather FOT this could be an issue, I'm highset and mostly even and it does slightly press in, but not enough to be noticeable under a shirt.

I did feel like the bra wasn't staying in my IMF, but when I took it off the marks were in my IMF, the wires were obviously a bit too wide, but they are not irritating.  Speaking of the wires, they are also quite soft and flexible, good for comfort, but if you need the support of a firmer wire it might not work for you. The wires felt like they were in my IMF more when I tightened the band.  All photos are with band on loosest hook.

Here you can see the slight pressing in of the cup edge and that the wires are slightly too wide.

While Sunnie is an okay fit for me, it doesn't give me a shape I particularly care for, it's quite separated and very east west.  I'm fine with the shape under a looser t-shirt, but not under a fitted shirt. I feel supported, but the bra is most certainly full coverage (6.5in cup height), I'm not a huge full coverage fan.  I do not get the slightest hint of cleavage from the bra either. The bra would be a more ideal fit for me if the gore and wires were a bit narrower.  The Sunnie also comes in a push up version, I'm not sure how much the push up padding will effect the depth of it, but I would probably prefer the push up over the full coverage.

Despite not being an ideal fit for me, it is still an okay fit.  The fact that this bra is ridiculously comfortable makes up for the few fit issues.  If you are looking for a comfy lounge around/ lazy day bra or seamless t-shirt bra Sunnie might be worth a look if you fall into the size range, there are also quite a few older colors of Sunnie on sale right now as well on Aerie.

Fun and Flirty Comexim Dottie 3HC

Comexim, Dottie, 3HC, half cup, bra, polish bra, a bra that fits, fun and flirty

I received this bra in a swap, I had been looking at the Dottie every time I've ordered from Comexim, but never ordered it, I guess I thought the bold colors weren't practical or something.  However when the I was offered it on a swap, I jumped on it.  It's cute and a 3HC, I realize this is the first 3HC I have reviewed, but I love the cut.  I can order the 3HC and not need a multiple alterations, straps moved in 2cm is nice, but not an absolute necessity like my alterations to the plunge style are.  I will try to do a comparison of a plunge, altered plunge, and 3HC here soon.

I am so glad I finally got this bra, not only is it super cute and girly, but it is a perfect fit.  I haven't had it on long, but it instantly gave me the feeling of being made for my boobs, much like my AP Lady Grey Sophistcate.  Like the Lady Grey the Dottie also utilizes a thinner strap at least in this size.  I wasn't told of any alterations, but my guess would be this has had the straps moved in because the strap placement in quite similar to other Comexims and AP's that I have the straps moved in on (I did confirm with the previous owner that straps had been moved in 2cm).  I wasn't sure about the thinner straps which my Lady Grey plunge also has, but the combination of thinner straps and having them moved in is really nice, especially if you've been wearing a bra with wider set straps and your armpits need a break.  Whenever I place my next Comexim order I will definitely be getting matching panties for this bra, it is too cute not to have matching undies.  I actually think this print would make a really cute swimsuit.

This being one of several 3HC styles I have I will say that this one seems to fit just slightly different from others.  The thinner straps are probably part of it.  I also think that another part is that my Irish Coffee 3HC has a 3x3 closure whereas this is the smaller/thinner version of the 2 hook.  My Irish Coffee has a 4in wing whereas the Dottie has a 3.6in wing.  The slightly shorter wing does keep it completely away from my armpits, so I may start requesting the smallest 2 hook closure or request the wing height.  My Irish Coffee 3HC is perfectly wearable, but is a bit close to my armpits, the wires on Irish Coffee are also .2in wider as well, some of the difference could be that I went up to a 70G in the Irish Coffee, mostly due to the lace continuing on the band which can make the band a bit tighter.

Update:

I absolutely love this bra, I am about to place a Comexim order soon and I emailed them because I was wanting to get some AP bras and needed pricing.  I mentioned I wanted to get a Dottie thong and I just heard back that they are out of fabric. I did manage to track down a pair at Bra Obsessed, they only had large, but I got them anyhow, and luckily they fit.

I have worn this bra on quite a few occasions now, and while the colors are bold and I have to be a bit selective with my shirt choice (me and my thin knits and t-shirts are the enemy of my cute bras).  This bra is extremely comfy and fits very well.  The only downside is that the straps are smooth and have no texture so I occasionally have to readjust them, but they are very easy to adjust so it's not really an issue.  The band on this also seems to be on the quite TTS  at about 30in, but the tension is a bit off between the elastic and the fabric, so if i'm going to wear it longer I sometimes use an extender.

Ewa Michalak M Magique, M vs. PL Comparison

Ewa michalak, magique, m cut, ewa m, a bra that fits, pl, comparison, review
Ewa Michalak M Magique, stock Photo from website.

I absolutely love the aesthetics of the M Magique. The band does run quite small, and I was aware since I bought it from another Bratabase user.  However,  I was really curious about the M cut and love the Magique anyhow, nothing an extender or 2 can't fix, and at least I didn't have to wait a month to see if it would even work.

The bra fits me fairly well, both with and without the cookies.  The cookies for this bra are a bit challenging to put in, they slide in through a small side pocket and you have to bend them a bit to squeeze them in.  While it fits well both ways, with the pads gives some extreme cleavage (I will take some more photos with pads in once I dig them out of the bra drawer).

The wires are a bit wide, but not excessively they are within the realm of what works for me at about 5.3in, and they are also quite short (about a 1.5cm shorter than than the PL).  The straps are still somewhat wide set like most EM's, but are narrower straps, which could be a pro or con depending on your preference, personally I think if they were wider they may be a bit irritating, but they do feel a bit flimsy (they are completely elastic), so you may need to adjust them a bit throughout the day, but they are easily adjustable.  I measured the distances between straps on the M compared to PL's of the same size and they seem to be close if not the same depending on the PL.

without cookies

without cookies

I think the primary difference between the PL and the M is the cup height with the M being about 2cm shorter than the PL. The gore is also a hair lower, but almost literally a hair lower, and the PL's range a bit in the ones I have from 1.75 to 2in while the M is 1.6in.

If the PL works for you and you want lower coveage the M could also work if you are in the size range for the M (65AA-F and corresponding sister sizes including a standard 60 band).  The cup depth seems to be mostly the same between the 3 PL's and the 1 M I have at about 8.25, with one PL measuring 8.5.  You may want to size up in the band though, it is noted on EM's website that the band on the M runs small, since I only have one M I can't speak to how true that is across the line, but this one does fit more like a 60 than a 65.

Here is a photo comparison between a PL and the M.  Although I believe I am wearing the cookies in the PL, I will add some photos with cookies in the M when I can (ideally when I have some natural light).  Despite cookies in one and not the other the cleavage looks similar probably because M  is lower coverage, with cookies, it's almost too much, but good for special occasions.  I am also able to wear a 65 band in the PL with no extender whereas in the M I have 2 extenders on.  For reference I have a 30.5in ribcage, so I'm more between 30/32 bands.
